Ms. Tonya's 3rd grade STEM Class studied the life cycle of butterflies. They observed caterpillars and watched as they formed a chrysalis. Within two weeks butterflies were born and students then got to release the butterflies. #good2bgreen

This event pairs with the Art Department's annual paper mache show, themed this year as fantasy creatures from around the world. CTE Credential Spotlight: Diesel Services.
These students have earned their ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Diesel Engine Certification! And additional students have earned their Snap-on Meter Certifications!
Perry Central has been designated by CELL (Center for Excellence of Leadership & Learning) as an Early College High School through a partnership with Ivy Tech Community College. Ivy Tech provides a College Connection Coach, Mrs. Laura Purcell, who helps students with college and career planning. New certification opportunities have been added to these pathways this year, which include Livestock Evaluation, Natural Resources, and Drone Certifications.

We are excited that students can now work towards an Educational Apprenticeship and Google Educator Certification!
CTE Credential Spotlight: Industrial Maintenance Technology.
Through dual credit coursework and work experience hours, students can work towards the DOL Approved Apprenticeship in Industrial Maintenance Mechanical. In addition, there are opportunities to earn an OSHA 10 Certification or SACA Certifications.
CTE Credential Spotlight: Construction Technology.
Students have the opportunity to earn their IKORCC Carpentry SEAL Certification (pre-apprenticeship) and NCCER Certifications!
CTE Credential Spotlight: Engineering.
This pathway provides students with the skills needed to earn a variety of certifications, including Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Fusion 360, AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, and 3-D Printing Certifications!
