This event pairs with the Art Department's annual paper mache show, themed this year as Islands from Around the World and the band's annual spring concert, which will feature music from around the world! Join us for a unique and educational adventure on Tuesday, April 22nd from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.!

Mr. Michael Jarboe and 4 engineering students traveled to Indianapolis this past weekend to participate in the Skills USA 3D printing competition. Their challenge was to design and print a hot wheel that would travel the furthest! They also judged on distance, print quality and print design! Congratulations to William Weaver and Beau Schaad for taking second place (their car traveled the furthest) and Cole Yeager and Hunter Kellems for 4th place!





We want to thank 2025 Indiana Teacher of the Year, Graciela Miranda, for visiting Perry Central last week and spending her time with us. Graciela spoke to Mrs. Jane Goffinet's Education Professions students and spoke to our faculty and staff during PLC time.

Perry Central's Diesel technology class visited Boyd Cat and Deaconess Gateway Energy Center on Thursday. Special thanks to Arnold Winstead for hosting and setting this up. The students were able to view a presentation and tour the facility. It was a great day!











More than 250 student entrepreneurs and educators from 12 schools gathered in Jasper on this past Wednesday for the Uplands Made Conference — learning, networking, presenting, and showing off their products and skills. This group of young leaders shared about their enterprise programs in their career pathways. They did a fantastic job!!

This past Wednesday our after-school CIA students completed a STEM project for NASA. The students had to come up with a water filtration system. They had to work within a budget and could only choose a few items. They all enjoyed it!

Congratulations to Perry Central's Spanish academic team and Spanish skit team for earning second place honors at the USI Language Bowl on Tuesday! The academic team finished one point out of first place and the skit team performed first in the new competition. They had a great day and learned a lot!




Are Phones Hurting Your Child’s Learning? Perry Central's cell phone policy is that cell phones and other electronic devices may be used by students during passing periods and lunch. Perry Central is collecting and recycling old PSC phone books. Please help us reach our goal of collecting over 700 phone books. We will receive 50 cents for each book collected and recycled. All proceeds go toward purchasing school supplies. The last day for phone book donations is April 25, 2025. Books can be sent in with students or dropped off at any office.


Save the date for the Princess and Knights Dance April 12th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. PK through 6th grade. Bring your knights (Dad, Uncle, Grandpa, etc.) and come dance the night away! Hosted by Perry Central Business Professionals of America!


Perry Central is excited to host our first Modern Youth Apprenticeship with Perry County Memorial Hospital. Through partnerships with SIEC, Ivy Tech and PCMH students will earn several dual credits towards their nursing degree, industry certifications and at least 650 hours of paid work experience. We are excited about how these programs start to help us rethink the high school experience and Pursue with Purpose! Congratulations to Jaidyn Hinton and Jaya Smith for signing with Perry County Memorial Hospital last Friday.
