On Tuesday, October 10th, Perry Central will be releasing students at 1:00 p.m. in order to host parent-teacher conferences. Lights On and CIA will operate with normal schedules, and we'll have 5:30 routes that day. Teachers will be reaching out to parents with more information. Thank you!

Football Homecoming is tonight during halftime of the varsity football game vs. Paoli. We are celebrating the start of a new home build for Habitat for Humanity. The home is being built under roof by students in our Commodore Construction program. It will then be moved to the building site in Tell City this coming Spring. Thanks to Josh Harris and Perry County Indiana Habitat for Humanity team and ATTC. #good2bgreen

Perry Central is proud to congratulate Samuel Ball, Olivia Berger, Haylee Gehlhausen, Colten Mitchell, Addilynn Pruitt, Maggie Taylor, Eli Underhill, and Julia Walsh, as they’ve been given academic honors from the @CollegeBoard National Recognition Programs for their strong performance on assessments and in their classrooms. Such recognition helps students stand out during college admissions, identifying academically competitive students. Students who may be eligible have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, have excelled on the PSAT/NMSQT, or earned a score of 3 or higher on two or more AP Exams.

Students, Aaron Pruett, Matthew McKeehan, Max Donavan and Eli Underhill, mentored by Ray Niehaus, have been working tirelessly on their MIT project which is a self-filling water bottle. Their idea is to create a safe water source for the homeless. They are one of 16 schools recognized as finalist for the MIT grant! Perry Central is partnering with ParentGuidance.org to provide families with support for their children's mental health. On the website, www.parentguidance.org, there are many resources including parent coaching, on-demand courses, and "ask a therapist" where parents can get ongoing support. These services are absolutely free to PC families! The company will not share any parent or student names with us--they will just give us the total number of people who have participated so that we will know if it is being utilized.
