Yesterday Perry County 10th graders connected with professionals from various career fields, gaining insights and inspiration for their futures. Aspire is always a great event for our students! Thanks to all of our community members for investing in our future leaders!










Thanks to Jasper Engines for their visit last week to learn more about our CTE programs and for helping us build systems that are authentic and true to industry standards. Our students practiced their communication skills by presenting to our guests, sharing their learning.








We were able to get the high school freshmen on a college campus today and learn more about different educational training. We know that every student needs something beyond a high school diploma - 2 year degree, 4 year degree, apprenticeship, military experience, industry certification are all important in our economy!! Thanks to these colleges for letting our freshmen explore their options! Ivy Tech Community College Evansville, Vincennes University Jasper, University of Southern Indiana, and Jasper Engines & Transmissions.

Commodore Construction has been busy working on the modular home they are building for Habitat for Humanity! This is the second home that they have built for Habitat. We look forward to watching Mr. Josh Craney and his students build the home this school year!

Last Friday Mr. Jarboe’s advanced engineering class had the opportunity to present the solution to their workplace challenge back to leadership at Jasper Engines. They are designing tool clamps for lean manufacturing processes. Not only are they working on creating a viable product but also a business plan. Students did a great job and were given more challenges to complete!! Thanks to @JasperEngines for providing such great experiences for our students.

Monday - Red Day: Everyone wears red to symbolize the fight against drug abuse. It promotes unity and awareness in the community.
Tuesday - Hats off to Health: Wear your favorite hat to celebrate healthy choices.
Wednesday - Tacky Tourist Day: Dress like a tourist to highlight the importance of exploring healthy alternatives to substance use. It's a fun way to remind everyone to seek adventure in life without drugs.
Thursday - Superhero Day: Dress as a superhero to symbolize the power of making healthy choices and standing up against peer pressure. It encourages students to be heroes in their own lives.
Friday - Team Spirit: Wear your favorite team colors or gear to promote teamwork and support. Highlight the importance of community and friendship in resisting drug use.
