IMPORTANT NEWS ~   

NOTICE:  Students who go to the bus garage for classes - There is NO water in the bus garage again.  This includes restrooms, so students should use the restroom before going to the bus garage.  This will most likely be for a few days this time. 

The river is now rising and a flood stage of 41 feet was expected yesterday and it will cut off Rome & Rocky Point.  We will not run the 5:30 route past Cannelton until further notice.  

Come out Saturday, April 20th, to catch our Spring play “16 in Ten Minutes” brought to you by Perry Central's Drama Club at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are only $6 at the door.

Perry Central School is collecting and recycling PSC phone books through April 26th.  We will receive 50 cents for each book collected and recycled.   All proceeds go toward purchasing school supplies.  Our goal is to collect 700 books. You can monitor our progress by the Family Center window.  Elem. teachers please place the books outside your classrooms. Books will be collected daily around 9 a.m.  High school teachers can leave books in any office or if there is another way you want them picked up without disruption to your classroom, please let Mrs. Foury know.  Thank you for supporting this worthy cause.

Perry County Memorial Hospital is offering FREE CPR and AED certification after school at Perry Central.  The class will consist of 2 hour classes for 2 days.  Please contact Michelle Duncan mduncan@pccommodores.org or call 812-843-5122.  Class is limited to 12 people. 

NOTE:  Ice Cream will be sold on Fridays in the cafeteria by the 7th grade Business class ($1.00 each) during the 2nd half of each lunch period. 

ATTN: Juniors & Seniors - If you plan to attend After Prom this year, please complete the google sign-up form. Permission slip forms must be turned in, before you can attend After Prom. Copies are available in the wall pockets outside the HS Office or can also be downloaded. If you have any questions, please see Kristi Etienne in the Central Office.

ATHLETIC INFO ~ 

The varsity baseball team will host Mitchell today at 4:30 p.m.

The JH softball team will host Heritage Hills today at 5 p.m.

The JH baseball team will travel to Heritage Hills for a game today at 5:15 p.m.

The 9th/10th gr. B/G track teams will travel to Forest Park for a meet at 9 a.m. tomorrow.

The JH B/G track teams will travel to Heritage Hills for an Invitational tomorrow at 9 a.m.

The varsity softball team will travel to Clarksville for a game tomorrow at 11 a.m.

The varsity golf team will travel to Corydon Central for a match tomorrow at 12:30 p.m.

JH Cheer Try-Outs will begin at 4:15 pm in the dome on May 10th.  Practice will be in the elementary gym on May 1st from 3:15-4:30 p.m.  Any questions, see Mrs. Laci Lynton.

HS Cheer Try-Outs will begin at 4:45 p.m. in the dome on May 10th.  Practices will be from 5:30-7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30th in the elem gym and on Tues., May 7th in the dome.  There will be two separate squads next year, one for football and one for basketball.  You can choose to try-out for both or just one.  Any questions, see Mrs. Laci Lynton. 

Information is available in the HS wall pockets for 7th/8th grade girls concerning the 2024 Girls Basketball Spring Skill Development Camp.  Forms are due TODAY.  

We now have weight room supervision from 3-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  This is open to all students, staff, and the community.

You're invited to Perry Central's first International Night! Experience diverse cultural dishes, read personal stories, and learn interesting facts from 36 countries. This event pairs with the Art Department's annual paper mache show, themed this year as fantasy creatures from around the world. Join us for a unique and educational adventure on April 30th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm!

German American Bank offers Perry Central School Spirit debit cards.  The bank donates $.02 to Perry Central for every debit card transaction.  If you currently have a GAB debit card, there is no charge to switch to a PC School Spirit card.   The cards are printed at any location in just a few minutes.
