IMPORTANT NOTICES ~

 

ATTN: Juniors & Seniors the After Prom Coke Fundraiser Distribution is TODAY, February 24th.  We hope to have orders ready to be picked up starting at 2:00 p.m. if not before, and can be picked up until 6:00 p.m.  If you are not able to pick up orders today, please let Kristi Etienne in the Central Office know as soon as possible.  If any juniors or seniors have free periods, please see Kristi Etienne to help make boxes and fill orders. You will get additional tickets for the prize drawings for helping!  

 

Information for Indiana On-Site Vaccination clinics in Perry Co. are posted on the bulletin board outside the HS office.  .Indiana immunization on-site vaccinations available on March 31 from 4-7 pm at 601  16th street Tell City.  There will also be a clinic at Perry Central on April 1, 2021 starting at 8:30 am.  There is no cost for the vaccines, regardless if insured or uninsured.  All forms must be completed & received no later than 24 hours prior to the start of the clinic in order to participate.  Students who participate in the clinic will be vaccinated with all recommended vaccinations that are due at the time of the clinic.  They also provide flu shots to both students & staff.  If you would like to have your student participate in the clinic, please complete the consent and questionnaire online at https://patients.vaxcare.com/registration with code IN65942  Any questions call or text 317-628-7116.

 

FFA Spirit Week:  Thursday - Mud Boots/Flannel Day; and Friday - Camo Day.

ATHLETIC INFO ~   

 

Junior High Softball will officially start practice Tues., March 2 at 5 p.m. in the hitting building.

Merkley Meat Fundraiser begins Friday, February 26, 2021.  Mr. James will meet with JH  athletes on Friday at 11 a.m. in the cafetorium and the HS athletes on Friday at 11:40 a.m. in the HS gym.

 

8th graders planning on playing football next year will meet at the end of lunch today  by the stage.  If they can’t be there, contact Coach Gibson. 

 

Anyone interested in HS golf should meet in the high school commons Friday at 2:45 p.m.

 

High School track will be practicing every day after school this week.  

 

Junior High Track Practice will start Monday, March 1.  Meet on the track by the Ag Building. 

 

We have game worn boys basketball jerseys for sale in the high school office.  Retro green and white jerseys that were worn for past sectional teams, game shorts all for $5, brand new sweats, pull-overs selling for $10.  Proceeds go to the boys basketball program.

 

Anyone interested in high school softball, not in a winter sport, should meet in the hitting building Tuesday and Thursday after school.   Bring your mitt.  Junior high softball players report at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the hitting building.

 

Also, anyone interested in Jr. High school softball, not in a winter sport, should  meet in the hitting building on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 5:00-6:30 p.m.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES ~ 

 

Students looking for part-time work:  Lutgring Bros. is in need of a temporary (or possibly permanent person) that would help with cleaning the floors in their office, which would include vacuuming & mopping the floors every day or possibly every other day. Starting out, the person would need to be there during hours that others are there, but after a while the work time can be more flexible.  Looking for a trustworthy, responsible individual. This person would need to be able to allocate at least  2-3 hours per day.  At this time, the wage would be $7.25/hr.  Any questions, please call 812-836-4300.  Thanks!
