  • Parents - when sending notes, please remember to include the date, your child’s name and his/her teacher’s name.  Please label personal items as this helps in returning. All unclaimed items are donated each quarter.   Student please check lost and found for your items.!


  • Calls for student changes need to be made before 2:00 PM


  • Lights on is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday until 6:00 PM with evening bus routes.  Friday Lights on is open until 5:00 PM - No Bus routes.   (Monthly Virtual days open till 5pm no bus routes)


  • Lights On is offering tutoring Monday-Thursday 3:00-5:00 PM.  Contact Sarah Kelly at skelly@pccommodores.org for times available for grade levels.



Preschool Virtual Round Up  ~  Friday, February 19th

Kindergarten Virtual Round Up  ~  Friday February 26th

Please join us for our virtual round up.  Children who will be four by August 1, 2021 are eligible to attend preschool and children who will be five by August 1, 2021 are eligible for kindergarten.  Students currently enrolled in preschool at Perry Central do not need to participate in kindergarten round up, they are automatically registered for next year.  


Virtual round up is accessible by visiting our website www.pccs.k12.in.us .  There will be videos to watch to meet your teacher, etc.  There will also be a link to a survey for parents to fill out to enroll/register your child.  This information will be used to mail your “Welcome” enrollment packets in March.  We are planning to have an in-person, meet your teacher opportunity, in April, more details will be sent out with appointment times as it approaches.  You will bring your packets to the April event to turn in.  Questions - Call 812-843-5122.


  • Indiana immunization on-site vaccinations available on March 31 from 4-7pm at 601  16th street Tell City.  There will also be a clinic at Perry Central School on April 1, 2021 starting at 8:30am.  There is no cost for the vaccines, regardless if insured or uninsured.  All forms must be completed and received no later than 24 hours prior to the start of the clinic in order to participate.  Students who participate in the clinic will be vaccinated with all recommended vaccinations that are due at the time of the clinic.  They also provide flu shots to both students and staff.  If you would like to have your student participate in the immunization clinic, please complete the consent and questionnaire online at https://patients.vaxcare.com/registration with code IN65942  Any questions call or text 317-628-7116


  • Merkley Meat Fundraiser begins Friday, February 26, 2021.  Mr James will meet on Friday with the 5th graders at 12:45 and the 6th graders at 1:05 in the dome to pass out forms. Sales will continue through March 10th. Please support your favorite athlete.


  • FFA dress up days- Tuesday-Friday:              Thursday- Mud Boots/Flannel Day       Friday- Camo Day


  • PC Tee Ball Registration forms have been sent home with all Elementary Students.  This is for boys and girls ages 4-6 by May 1, 2021.  Additional forms are available in the office.  Registration and payments deadline is April 16, 2021.


  • Perry County Youth Soccer League for girls and boys grades 2-4 Spring Registration forms have been passed out to students. Extra forms are in the office if you are interested.


  • Tuesday, February 23 will be our school photo retake day.  We will start out with retakes for staff members before school, then junior-senior high school students first period, followed by elementary retakes.  Following retakes, we will be taking elementary class photos in grades 3-6 and the Monday-Tuesday preschool classes.

Thursday, February 25, we will take any Thursday-Friday preschool retakes and elementary class photos of grades K-2 and the Thursday-Friday preschool class.


  •  Anyone interested in Jr. High school softball, not in a winter sport, should  meet in the hitting building on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 5:00-6:30 p.m


  • Future stars basketball for boys in grades 1-4 will look a little different this year.  Grades 1 and 2 will be in the Dome on Sundays and the HS gym on Mondays.  Grades 3 and 4 will be in the HS gym on Sundays and the Dome on Mondays.

Practice times on Sundays: 1st & 3rd at 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. then 2nd & 4th  from 2:30 -4:00 p.m.

Practice times on Mondays: 1st & 3rd at 5:30-6:30 p.m. then  2nd & 4th from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
