Perry Central Standards-Based Grading Initiative
Last school year, we began to phase in standards-based grading at Perry Central Community Schools with grades K, 1 and 6. This year, students in grades K-7 will have standards-based report cards, which will provide more specific information about what students know and can do in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. Students in grade 8 will still have traditional report cards, but they will be scored on academic achievement separately from time/task management. We will continually update this page with resources, examples, and FAQ documents as we move forward with standards-based grading.
