ATHLETIC INFORMATION ~
The V/JV baseball team will host Paoli today at 4:30 p.m. **** The boys varsity track team will travel to NE Dubois for an invitational today at 4:30 p.m. **** The V/JV baseball game previously scheduled with Lanesville for tomorrow has been cancelled. **** The Unified Track team will travel to North Harrison for a meet tomorrow at 5 p.m. **** Summer Speed Camp will be available this summer to athletes in current grades 7th-11th. The camp will focus on: explosive speed, coordination and balance, multi-directional movement, and endurance and stamina. Speed Camp is for all athletes in any sport! Camp will be held on every Monday and Wednesday in June, from 6:30 – 7:45 a.m. in the HS Gym. Cost is $30 per athlete. See any Varsity Sport Coach for a form or pick one up from the wall pockets at the HS Office. Forms and money are due to the HS Office by Fri., May 12th. To participate, athletes must have a 2017-18 physical on file in the HS Office. (*Note: Free physicals will be given at Perry Central on May 9th). **** NOTICE: Pictures for boys V/JV basketball players with Danny Bolin has been set for Thurs., May 4th during WIN. **** JH softball girls come to the HS office to pick up a picture form. Softball pictures are today at 3:15 p.m. at the field. Bring your uniforms. Practice will be held after pictures. **** Pitch, Hit and Run competition will be held on Sun., April 30th at 1 p.m. with registration starting at noon. Competition will be held at the Tell City Girls Softball Fields. Competition is for Boys & Girls ages 7 to 14 (age as of July 17, 2017). Participation is free. SENIORS: There are a few extra graduation announcements for sale in the office. Price is $1.25 each. **** Literature Club members should wear their shirts tomorrow for a picture. **** There will be a SWAT meeting today during 1st WIN in the HS commons area. **** There will be a STAND meeting during both lunches on Thursday. **** Attention Juniors & Seniors! Prom and after-prom permission forms have been emailed to you and your parents. They are also available on the PC website home page. Forms are due by the end of the school day today. **** The high school art department's paper mache exhibit on "Oceans" is April 25 -28. There will be an open house for the community Thurs. April 27th from 3–6 p.m. after school. Please invite your families to come by to see all of the great artwork! **** If anyone is interested in performing at Commodore Pride, please see Mrs. Johnson ASAP. **** A Jostens representative will be here today at WIN time to meet with the 2018 senior class officers to select next year's announcement. The meeting will take about 20 minutes. **** The Senior Class Trip to Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari will take place Wed., May 24th. Ticket cost is $15. Please stop by Mrs. Walsh’s classroom room to sign up and to get a permission form. All those attending must turn in a permission form, even if you have passes. Permission forms & money are due to Mrs. Walsh by Fri., May 5th. **** The Senior Picnic at Leopold Park will take place following Graduation Practice on Thurs., May 25th. There is no cost involved, but everyone attending must sign up and return a permission form. Stop by Mrs. Walsh’s room to sign up and pick up a permission form. **** All juniors & seniors taking an out-of-school date or a younger P.C. student to Prom need to fill out a Prom Guest Form, found in the HS wall pockets. **** This year’s theme for Commodore Pride is the Holidays! Student Council should turn in your themes to Mrs. Johnson. Seniors will have top priority. Sign-up sheet for the Corn Hole tourney is on Mrs. Johnson’s door. Commodore Pride will be on Friday, May 19th.

Congressman Larry Bucshon will be hosting Academy Day this Sat., April 29th from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Central Time at VU-Gibson County Center.
