LOST AND FOUND: The elementary lost and found is piling up. We ask that students double check for any items that belong to them. At the end of the school year the left over items will be cleaned and donated.
LIBRARY REMINDER: Please turn in your library books this week.
6th, 7th, 8th and 9th GRADE BASKETBALL CAMP: Basketball camp for boys entering 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade next year will begin on Monday, June 3rd. Camp dates are Monday, June 3rd - Friday, June 7th. The 6th and 7th grade will have camp from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. Camp will be held in the High School Gym. Games will begin on Tuesday, June 11th. Games will only be for the 7th, 8th and 9th grade. A complete schedule of games will be given to campers on the first day of camp. Cost for each camper will be $30.00. Forms are available in the Elementary Office.
GIRLS BASKETBALL CAMP: The Lady Commodores will be holding our summer camps from May 28th through May 31st in the Dome from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Any girl entering grades 3-6 for the 2013-2014 school year can attend. Cost for the camp will be $20.00, which will be used to defray camp costs and provide a T-shirt for the camper. Checks can be made payable to Perry Central Activity Fund. SUMMER FIELD TRIPS 2013: We will be offering 3 summer field trips in June for students currently in grades pre-school through 6th grade and adult chaperones. Trips are 7.50 per person each trip. Forms and information available in the Elementary Office. The trips are as follows: Friday June 7th KY Science Center and IMAX in Louisville, Thursday June 13 Louisville Zoo, Tuesday June 25 Swim at Burdette Park in Evansville.
PERRY COUNTY YOUTH SOCCER: The fall league for Perry County Youth Soccer registration has begun. The season begins mid-August. The league is for boys and girls in preschool through 12th grade. Children must be born on or before 7/31/2009. Registration forms must be received or postmarked on or before May 31, 2013. Forms are available in the elementary office. Forms are only accepted via mail, please do not hand off to individuals.
VOLLEYBALL CAMP: Any 3rd-6th grade girl interested in participating in the PC Volleyball Camp to be held June 10th-13th should turn in completed forms with camp fees to Mrs. Lynch, or the Elementary Office by Tuesday, May 21st. Additional forms are available in the Elementary Office, from Mrs. Lynch, or can be obtained from the school's website.
PC SUMMER SPEED CAMP: Any 6th grade student athlete interested in participating in the PC Summer Speed Camp or would like more information about the Speed Camp or would like more information about the Speed Camp can obtain a form from the Elementary Office, Mrs. Lynch, or the school's website. Completed forms with camp fees need to be returned to the Elementary Office or to Mrs. Lynch by Friday, May 17th.
BIRTHDAY TREATS: Parents can call the P.C. Kitchen and order healthy treats of fresh fruit, parfaits or smoothies for classroom birthday parties. Prices range from $15 to $20 for enough treats for the whole class. Please call with orders two weeks in advance for ordering purposes. Please call Delores for details at 843-5122.
If your child is going to be riding a different bus for any reason, please make sure the office gets a copy of your note daily.
Just a reminder we are still collecting ink cartridges, plastic lids, box tops for education and pull tabs.
